Root Canal Treatment - The Tooth Saver !

Root canal treatment is an endodontist procedure performed by a dentist to remove infected pulp tissue of root canal.
Terms to Know :
There are various parts of a tooth like crown, dentine, enamel, pulp etc. The central cavity of the tooth is called as Root canal. Every teeth has a root canal and these root canals contain various vital and minute structures like veins, arteries, nervers, lymphatics and soft tissue. This together is also knows as Pulp tissue.
The pulp gets infected often due to injury or systemic infection. This infection starts from root canal and spreads down to root, jaw bone and can cause severe pain, swelling, purulent abscess and osteomyelities of jaw bones.

In this situation, root canal treatment comes helpful. Instead of removing the whole tooth, performing root canal is a tooth saving option. The dentist makes a way into the root canal from the top of the tooth, removes the infected and damaged pulp tissue and fills it again with a bio-material like gutta-purcha points. And then the root canal is closed with an artificial crown or so.

Thus if you are suffering from tooth ache, swelling in mounth or root pain, consult an endodontist for appropriate treatment as early as possible because if the tooth has infected a lot, it may not be possible to save it via root canal treatment and may require complete tooth extraction. :-)

  1. Having had this issue before you should schedule a dentist apointment as soon as you start to notice the severe pain or swelling. The sooner the better!! The pain only gets worse so if you have it call and get an apiontment ASAP

  2. Hello, This is Mary

I am 36 years old with 2 toddlers. My youngest just started day care last week- which still feels a little strange. I haven’t had this much time to myself in years. First thing I want to do is lose the extra pounds I put on during the last pregnancy. One of the girls next door has suggested I join her walking group two days a week. After my first pregnancy I lost around 35 pounds using the Herbalife products, but when I called the man that sold them to me three years ago he told me this week he doesn’t sell them anymore. He told me to look on the internet. It’s disappointing because he was really nice and he called me regularly to make sure I was using their products correctly. It was nice to have someone checking in with me every week to see how I was and it kept me motivated.

I searched on the internet for someone that sells Herbalife in New Jersey. I found many websites but I don’t want
just to buy the products, I want to find someone trustworthy that sells the products so I can also meet them and get started again.

Could anybody here recommend someone in New Brunswick?.

    Thanks, Mary

  3. Sorry Mary, no idea about a weight watcher in New Brunswick..

Instead of internet, better search some local weight watcher or dietician. :)
